Solutions 4 Stress provides instructional skill coaching courses for teenagers who experience
elevated levels of stress. Stress can be caused by many factors including social anxiety, executive dysfunction, academic expectations, overbooked schedules, need for perfection, a culture of distraction, and highly competitive environments.
Serving Greater Boston, Merrimack Valley, Middlesex, Essex Counties, and Southern new Hampshire. Located in Andover Massachusetts.
8 Week Courses function primarily as psycho-educational
classes with a focus on Dialectical Behavior Techniques (DBT). Students are taught a variety of
evidence based strategies and techniques found to be particularly effective in
helping teens manage elevated stress. In each course students will develop an awareness and acceptance of stressors and triggers as well as develop effective coping strategies.
4 Week Courses provide an opportunity for students to practice learned strategies and review essential skills in order to effectively utilize them in everyday life. Strategy use should become second nature. Four week courses give a more directed approach to help solidify the skill base.
